The Keystone Recovery Method for Men
At The Archway, we offer a comprehensive men's sober living program designed for lasting sobriety. Situated in luxury apartments within Town Madison, our program is led by licensed Masters-level Social Workers (State of Alabama) and Certified Recovery Support Specialists (Alabama Department of Mental Health) and includes mandatory daily 12-Step meetings, employment requirements, weekly drug testing, and 24/7 on-site support.
Over 6-12 months, residents progress through our structured 4-stage system: Foundation, Growth, Integration, and Independence - with each stage building greater autonomy while maintaining professional accountability. Our program requires mandatory weekly community meetings, daily sponsor check-ins, and employment or volunteer work (25+ hours weekly). All residents work through all 12 steps with a sponsor while developing essential life skills through weekly observed drug screening and comprehensive case management.
We provide transportation to 12-Step meetings and treatment programs, ensuring seamless coordination with IOP/PHP providers. Located in the prestigious Town Madison development, residents enjoy a walkable community with dozens of restaurants and shops while focusing on structured recovery in a luxury, home-like environment.

Our men-only residence features a zero-tolerance policy for drugs, alcohol, and violence. All residents live in a home-like environment with shared common areas and 24/7 staff oversight. Medications are securely stored on-site, vehicles are managed during your first 30 days, and all personal belongings are subject to safety searches when necessary.

Led by Program Director Thomas Smith, our team provides structured accountability while fostering personal growth. Residents advance through our 4-stage system, from Foundation (weeks 1-8) through Independence, with each stage offering increased privileges and responsibilities. Our alumni leadership program creates lifelong connections and mentorship opportunities.
NARR Standards & Professional Oversight
We operate under NARR standards with an AARR certification, ensuring evidence-based recovery practices.
